Banana Bread

I searched on the internet for this recipes and after some trial and error in my lab, which is my kitchen, I came up with this nice and moist banana bread recipe. This is my husband favorite, he doesn’t like any kind of nuts so I don’t use that. I add raisins sometimes, or chocolate chip. You can add nuts, raisins or anything else that you want to throw in the batter.

Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar
1 stick of butter, softened
3 bananas, mashed
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or rum
1/4 cups raisins soak in rum

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8×4 inch loaf pan.

Combine sugar, butter, bananas, eggs, flour, baking soda, milk, salt and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl; beat well. Stir in Raisins, mix well. Pour batter into prepared pan.

Bake in a preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.

Tip: Add  1-2 tablespoon on mayonnaise or sour cream to the batter will make the bread really moist!
