I was doing my night time exercise last night while holding my kindle and pedalling on my stationary bike…and scrolling on pinterest. At first it was pumpkin cake, all sort of pumpkinish thingy that I was searching. Don’t know about you, but I get distracted so easily on Pinterest. Anyway..from searching for pumpkin cake and all pumpkin, I got sidetracked and search for cake in the microwave.

So many different recipe. I wanted to find one that is easy to make at work. Yes you heard me..at work so that when I am craving for some sweet yummy cake, I don’t have to run to Starbucks. Though their pumpkin bread is so good..see how easy I got sidetracked..!

from all of the recipe I found, looks like the basic of this 3 2 1 cake a.k.a microwave mug cake are by combining (or not) any flavor cake mix you choose with angel food cake cake mix in a ziploc bag. That is your base. When captain sweet tooth came and attacking you, grab that mix in ziploc bag, scoop 3 tablespoon of the mixture and add 2 tablespoon of water ( I think you are supposed to greased the cup/mug first), mix well then microwave for 1 minute. There it’s the 3 2 1 yumm!

I shared this finding with my co worker and we agreed on making pumpkin cake as our trial. So I am in charge to bring the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice since the person in change of bringing the cake mix have yellow cake mix in her pantry and the other one going to grab the angel food cake mix.

Oh for this pumpkin cake we are supposed to replace 1 tablespoon of water with the pumpkin puree. And I am thinking to bring some chocolate chip to mix in the batter and make chocolate chip pumpkin cake. And maybe some icing, cream cheese icing or butterscotch icing. Wish us luck for tomorrow. I will definitely post the picture and the result tomorrow. So can’t wait to try it..tempted to do it at home tonight but I dragged myself from the kitchen and sit in front of my laptop and typing here instead. Til’ tomorrow guys…have a nice evening!
