My mother in law loves icecream and cake. Every afternoom she will have a slice of cake with her coffee and at night, a bowl of icecream. She loves Dreyers caramel delight best.

We try to make cake fornher birthday if things she loves. Did the bridge card, texas rangers in the shape of the texas rangers hat, we did hotdog cakes, etc. Now this year we have been trying to come up with something..

My husband came up with this idea actually the day before the very day we have to celebrate. So i scrambled creating the design for the icecream tub, went to print it. And of course they changed the size of the image from the size I have set up.

Made the cake vanilla, the frosting is caramel swiss meringue buttercream. Covered with the edible image i printed. I think wouldnbe better if i cover it with fondant first then the edible image. Or..modelling chocolate. However…..she was happy. And I am glad we can contributed to her happiness. Eventho it’s only with cake…from the oven with love!
