Hi guys, It’s the time of the month again..reveal day. I have been having so much fun doing this foodie penpal. Not only get the yummilicious goodies but I get to know wonderful ladies around the states.

Happy Halloween!! we just got back home after trick or treating with my lil one. He had so much fun. I think he enjoys this more than his earlier years. Usually few blocks and he would ask to go home. Not this time he won’t. I did! I asked to end the activity.

Back to the foodie penpal :). This time there was a hick up at the beginning. My match up girl was not responding so sweet Lindsay assigned another sweet girl, Mandi. She sent me a box full of joy :). It’s all gone by now. With help from my troops.

My boy loves this one, I didn’t get even a bite to taste it!

But these are mine and only mine.  They do not want to touch it because it has “nuts”..woohoo!

There’s one more that we have not try. I am thinking to make a macaroni soup with this pasta. Well I am supposed to do it for Halloween :(.  Cute pasta in the shapes of ghosts, spider web etc.

The bonus on this round that I think is a really good idea is a journal that was originally started by Emily Starr. Which she send to her match up with notes and the match up should send it forward to her next match up and so on. So now it’s my turn to pass it forward to my next match up penpal.

As always, for all of you that want to know about this fun activity, here is the detail:

-On the 5th of every month, you will receive your penpal pairing via email. It will be your responsibility to contact your penpal and get their mailing address and any other information you might need like allergies or dietary restrictions.
-You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your penpal! 
-The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treats! The spending limit is $15. The box must also include something written. This can be anything from a note explaining what’s in the box, to a fun recipe…use your imagination!
-You are responsible for figuring out the best way to ship your items depending on their size and how fragile they are. (Don’t forget about flat rate boxes!)
-Foodie Penpals is open to blog readers as well as bloggers. If you’re a reader and you get paired with a blogger, you are to write a short guest post for your penpal to post on their blog about what you received. If two readers are paired together, neither needs to worry about writing a post for that month. 
-Foodie Penplas is open to US & Canadian residents.  Please note, Canadian Residents will be paired with other Canadians only. We’ve determined things might get too slow and backed up if we’re trying to send foods through customs across the border from US to Canada and vice versa.
